Deputy Chief Technology Officer - Trading Firm

About the role

Lead day-to-day global engineering operations, delivery cadence, budgets, and organizational development while deputizing for the CTO with executives, the Board, and external partners. Drive trading platform consolidation, shared data capabilities, cybersecurity and regulatory execution, and engineering integrations following acquisitions. The role calls for extensive senior engineering leadership experience across global, multi-division organizations, including low-latency trading systems, digital assets, platform consolidation, and shared infrastructure. Candidates should have experience in regulated environments and M&A integration, strong executive communication and technical decision-making skills, and a track record as an operational deputy to a CTO or technical founder; Rust is a plus.
