Deputy Chief Technology Officer - Trading Firm

About the role

Lead day-to-day global engineering operations, including delivery cadence, OKRs, budgets, vendor relationships, and divisional leadership, while deputizing for the CTO with executives and external partners. Drive trading-platform consolidation and shared data capabilities, and oversee execution of cybersecurity and regulatory commitments, talent development, and engineering integrations following acquisitions. The role calls for extensive senior engineering leadership experience across global, multi-division organizations, including platform consolidation, shared infrastructure, and scaling or integrating teams. Candidates should bring deep knowledge of low-latency trading and digital-asset systems, regulatory environments such as MiCA, DORA, and SOC 2, and the ability to operate as a trusted execution-focused deputy to a CTO or technical founder; Rust familiarity is a strong plus.
