Deputy Chief Technology Officer - Trading Firm

About the role

Lead day-to-day global engineering operations, delivery cadence, budgets, and organizational development while deputizing for the CTO with executives, the Board, and external partners. Drive trading-platform consolidation, shared data capabilities, cybersecurity and regulatory execution, and engineering integrations across business divisions. Candidates should have substantial experience leading global engineering organizations across multiple business lines, with expertise in low-latency distributed systems, algorithmic trading, digital assets, and large-scale platform consolidation. They should also bring regulatory execution experience, strong executive communication and operational leadership, and a track record supporting a CTO or technical founder through organizational growth and M&A integration; Rust familiarity is a plus.
