Deputy Chief Technology Officer - Trading Firm

About the role

Lead day-to-day global engineering operations, delivery cadence, budgets, and organizational development while deputizing for the CTO with executives, the Board, and external partners. Drive trading-platform consolidation and shared data capabilities, and oversee security, regulatory compliance, vendor management, and engineering integrations following acquisitions. Candidates should have substantial experience leading global engineering organizations across multiple business lines, including low-latency trading or digital-asset infrastructure, platform consolidation, and shared data or infrastructure functions. The role also calls for regulatory execution experience, strong technical judgment and executive communication, and a track record as a senior operational partner to a CTO or technical founder; Rust familiarity is a plus.
