Deputy Chief Technology Officer - Trading Firm

About the role

Lead day-to-day global engineering operations, including delivery cadence, OKRs, budgets, vendor relationships, and divisional leadership. Drive trading platform consolidation, shared data capabilities, cybersecurity and regulatory execution, and engineering integrations while deputizing for the CTO with executives and external partners. The role calls for extensive experience leading global engineering across multiple business lines, with a strong background in low-latency distributed systems, algorithmic trading, and digital assets; Rust familiarity is a plus. Candidates should have led platform consolidation and data or infrastructure functions, operated in regulated environments, served as a senior operational deputy to a CTO or founder, and scaled teams through growth and M&A.
