Deputy Chief Technology Officer - Trading Firm

About the role

Lead day-to-day global engineering operations, including delivery cadence, OKRs, budgets, talent development, and regulatory execution, while deputizing for the CTO with executives and external partners. Drive consolidation of trading infrastructure across venues and markets, establish shared data pipelines and governance, and oversee security, compliance, vendor management, and engineering integrations. The role calls for extensive senior engineering leadership experience across global, multi-division organizations, including low-latency distributed systems, algorithmic trading, and digital asset infrastructure. Candidates should have led platform consolidation, shared data and infrastructure functions, regulatory compliance, organizational growth, and M&A integrations, and have experience as an operational deputy to a CTO or technical founder; Rust is a strong plus.
