Deputy Chief Technology Officer - Trading Firm

About the role

Lead day-to-day global engineering operations, including delivery cadence, OKRs, budgets, vendor relationships, and organizational development, while deputizing for the CTO with executives and external partners. Drive trading platform consolidation and shared data capabilities, and oversee practical execution of cybersecurity and regulatory commitments across divisions. The role calls for extensive senior engineering leadership experience across global, multi-division organizations, including platform consolidation, shared infrastructure, and M&A integration. Candidates should bring deep expertise in low-latency trading systems and digital assets, regulatory execution in frameworks such as MiCA, DORA, and SOC 2, and experience serving as an operational deputy to a CTO or technical founder; Rust familiarity is a strong plus.
